Welcome to our Christmas Yard

We started putting up Christmas inflatables in 2007 with around 10 or so inflatables, and some lights on the house.  See this was a year of tearful events, our house had water damage in June and then caught fire in July and our family was living in a hotel for almost six (6) months. 

We would come to the house daily but the kids needed something to look forward to, so we put up inflatable Christmas decorations. Every night we would come, turn them on, sit, and let the kids enjoy them for a few hours. 

When we finally moved into our house which was Christmas Day 2007, we decided to put them up every year after that and add more and more inflatables. 

By 2017, we had over 100 inflatables, and the community, from kids to adults had taken a liking to them and now came by every night. We knew we wanted to do more for our community but we didn't know how. 

We started brainstorming, and talking to people, and then in 2018 Kickoff to Christmas was born. It was very small, we had crafts, cookies, hot chocolate, and of course Santa. People came and looked around. The kids loved seeing Santa and we guessed around 50 people came for our 1st Annual event. Everything at the event was free, we just asked for donations for food baskets and we gave out 5 that year. We also got ourselves on the local news for our efforts!  

Every December, the Kickoff to Christmas happens and every year we add something new but our purpose is the still same, FOOD BASKETS for those in need. Monetary donations and food donations are accepted to help the community and we also have a couple of businesses that sponsor! In 2020, we gave 15 baskets to those in need and we also helped a family with gifts for the kids. Mrs. Claus delivered those! 

In 2022, we were able to help over 30 families with food baskets and we also helped 56 Senior Citizens in need. This number continues to grow every year.

It's great to go out year after year looking for unique or different "ones" to put up the following year and see the joy it brings to your kids and the community. As of 2022, we have over 220 inflatables and that number continues to grow!
